These prayer points and scriptures can be used on any and every day, along with the 30-day Guide.
- Each day, as we start to pray, come humbly in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ before our Father in Heaven, repenting of any sin by thought, word or deed and asking for fresh cleansing by the blood of our Lord Jesus Christ.
- Glorify and praise the Triune God, the Great I AM (Exodus 3:14) – Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Thank Father God for Jesus, His Son, for the Cross, for the atoning death and the wonderful resurrection unto life eternal.
- Thank God that while we were yet sinners, Jesus took the punishment that was ours when He died on that Cross, and by the blood of Jesus we are saved and sanctified. Romans 5:8
- Thank God that Jesus now sits at His right hand, forever interceding for us. Mark 16:19
- Thank God for fulfilling the promise given by Jesus to his disciples, that the Father would send the Holy Spirit to be our ever-present companion until Jesus returns. John 14: 16, 17 & 26
- As we pray each day for an area of Fife, pray that the Holy Spirit will flow and hover over this county and for the salvation of every man, woman, boy and girl. Cry out for God’s mercy, for a great outpouring of the Holy Spirit, of God’s glory and power, for the salvation and restoration of Fife through the blood of our Lord Jesus.
- Welcome the Holy Spirit – declare He is welcome in Fife. Invite Him to touch every heart bringing conviction of sins and drawing many to repentance with chords of love.
- Pray that as the Holy Spirit flows throughout Fife we will see not only salvations but miracles of healing and deliverance:
- Healing in homes and on the streets, hospital beds being emptied;
- Transformation of society – men and women of honesty and integrity in positions of authority, neighbour caring for neighbour, violent and all other crime disappearing;
- Deliverance from addiction to drugs, alcohol, pornography and gambling.
- Pray for Fife to return to the truths of Scripture, that the Church in Fife would become known as faithful followers of God’s word, living out the words of Jesus in our daily lives as faithful witnesses to Him.
- Pray that Fife will be known as county of powerful preachers of God’s Word. Malachi 4:5
- Pray that Fife will birth a new missionary movement, both within the county but also sending throughout Scotland and further afield.
- Pray for a fresh movement of unity amongst Fife churches in every area, that the Holy Spirit would help each church to move forward ‘As One!’ for Jesus, so that God may pour out His favour and blessing. John 17:22-23 and Psalm 133
- Pray that the move of God in Fife cannot be contained within this county but that it will spill over the borders north, south and west, impacting the rest of Scotland and connecting with the moves of God and the rising tide of prayer taking place throughout the nation.
- Pray the Lord’s Prayer each day. Lord, may Your Kingdom come, may Your will be done in me, in my community, in Fife and in Scotland AMEN!
