What is ‘The Kingdom for the King’?

‘The Kingdom for the King’ is a vision to raise a canopy of prayer over Fife from 19th January to 17th February 2026.   Our vision is that individuals, prayer groups and churches across the county will commit to pray for at least one hour during the 30 days – 720 hours of continuous prayer covering the county.

Every Christian individual, prayer group, Church and ministry that holds Jesus Christ as our Saviour and Lord is invited to join in this unique prayer initiative.

We are asking you/your group to pray for at least one hour during the 30 days.  You may choose to pray more often, for example for the same hour each week.  Decide which time(s) and day(s) suit you, your prayer group or church then sign up by completing the registration form – see ‘How can I sign up?’ below.

Click on the ‘Get involved’ tab, review the information on the registration page and complete the form – either as an individual or on behalf of your prayer group or church.  Following review, around 2 days after we receive your details, a pin or cross will appear on the Fife map based on your postcode only.  A pin represents an individual.  A cross represents a prayer group or church.  Our vision is to see Fife covered with pins and crosses!

Definitely YES!   As part of this initiative we wish to identify where praying is taking place all across Fife, especially if you are a member of a prayer group meeting regularly.  You don’t have to arrange extra meetings (unless you want to) – just agree to include some of the suggested prayer topics in your regular prayer gatherings.

The menu under the Resources tab takes you to a 30-day Prayer Guide which you can download and use on your own or in your group.  The Resources section also has a range of suggestions you may wish to use to make your hour (or more!) of prayer more fruitful and meaningful.

You won’t be able to change your details yourself, but we can do this.  To change, complete a new registration form – please make sure you enter the same details apart from the date & time.  Then select YES in the drop-down menu at the question ‘Is this a replacement date/time?’  We will find the original pin, delete it then add your new pin.

You can email your questions and comments from the Contact us page.  We will reply as soon as we can, but please note that the organisers are a group of part-time volunteers so while we will try to be prompt, we may not be able to reply immediately.  Please check the FAQ page as your question may be answered there.
