Kingdom for The King

Vision

The vision is at one level quite simple, yet at another level quite strategic, profound and by faith, life-changing!

It is for the whole church, the Body of Christ in Fife to unite in 30 days of continuous prayer for a fresh move of God and a major spiritual breakthrough – bringing ‘the kingdom of Fife’ to the throne of ’The King of kings’.

We believe Jesus wants to release a fresh move of God in Scotland, that Fife has a key role to play in this, and that is why He has given us this vision.  We believe this is a ‘first’, both in Fife and in Scotland – a whole region coming together to pray ‘As One’ for 30 days.

The aims are to:

  • facilitate 720 hours of continuous prayer from 12.01am on 19 January to 12 midnight on 17 February 2026;
  • bring together the many and varied expressions of prayer – individuals, prayer groups, churches – in one major outpouring of intercession for Fife, and through Fife for the nation;
  • raise a canopy of prayer over Fife, creating a dwelling place for God’s presence which will lead to spiritual transformation in every community;
  • hold an evening of worship and prayer in a different location across Fife on each weekend during the 30 days – see Events for details.

How will it work?

You, your family, friends, prayer group and church are invited to sign up to pray for an hour or more.

  • Your request will generate a pin (for an individual) or cross (for a prayer group/church) on the main map of Fife showing your general location (not your specific address).
  • It should appear within 2 days of your form being received.
  • At the same time a linked calendar showing the times folk plan to pray will be updated. Check this for any gaps still to be filled.
  • Each day, a map on the Home page will show where folk are praying for those 24 hours.

As we come together for a common purpose under Christ’s headship, in unity, God promises to ‘command His blessing!’  [Ps 133, John 17:21-23]   When the family of God prays together we see:

  • existing links in the family of God are strengthened,
  • new relationships are formed and built,
  • there is a fresh desire to work together in mission, and
  • the Church is prepared to receive the harvest.

So let us join together to saturate Fife in prayer over these 30 days!

How should we pray?

  • This is entirely up to you, your prayer group or church.
  • Prayer is like an orchestra – spoken, silent, listening, worship, prayer walks, reading Scripture, prayer stations, agreeing with God’s heart for our communities and nation – and more. Pray as the Lord leads.
  • However we would ask that for some or all of your time you include the prayer points and topics for that day from the 30-day Prayer Guide.
  • If you need some other ideas please see the Resources

Scripture reminds us that if we humble ourselves, pray and seek God’s face and turn to Him, He will hear our prayers, answer our cries and heal our land [2 Chron 7:14].
